A meat based diet is rich in protein and other nutrients, but we choose meat for flavour.
From the most succulent prime rib roast, a marinated chicken breast or a roast leg of lamb, meats are the center of holiday meals. On our less extravagant days, we find variety in life by using different cuts of meat which we stew, sauté, broil, grill, barbecue or stir-fry. We mince our meats and make hamburgers and meatloaf of infinite variety.
