Reduce unhealthy chemicals and toxins in our environment. Natural animals are never fed hormones or antibiotics. Our farms agricultural practices prevent pesticides and other chemicals from getting into the air, earth and water that sustain us.
Build healthy soil. Well-balanced soil is the foundation of healthy, nutritious food. Conventional farming depletes the soil over time. Our farmers use practices that replenish and build healthy soil.
Protect the water supply. Eliminating polluting chemicals and nitrogen leaching, in combination with soil building, prevents contamination and protects and conserves water resources.
Consume less fossil fuel. Our farmers seeks to make the most efficient use of nonrenewable resources and on-farm resources and integrate, where appropriate, natural biological cycles and controls.
